Cat Ba island is seen as the gem of the Gulf of Tonkin, located at South of Ha Long Bay where it showcases stunning scenery, a vibrant blue beach and many diferent sea plants and animals. The local special festival is one of the main attractions of Cat Ba leading to increasing number of incoming tourists. Cat Ba is also covered by an old forest and a limestone mountain.
Cát Bà có rừng nguyên sinh trên núi đá vôi. Phía đông nam của đảo có vịnh Lan Hạ, và hướng tây là vịnh Cát Gia gồm những bãi biển xanh, cát trắng, sóng không lớn, phù hợp du lịch tắm biển, nghỉ dưỡng. Đường đèo trên đảo dốc, quanh co, xuyên qua vườn quốc gia.
